Is this a good plot for a novel?

Hi I am trying to write my 1st novel (I don't expect it to be a best seller) it's called Underground. He is the blurb so far. When dave comes home to find his fiancee is kipnapped he doesn't know what to do so goes out and get drunk and gets into a fight. Little did he know that the person he had the fight with is part of a underground boxing organisation. Will he be able to save the one he loves? Please get back to me on it and give me advice thanks chris
