My fiancee had gotten Asthma since being in the Army, is he able to receive benefits for this?

My fiancee had gotten Asthma since being in the Army, he is on is way home for medical reasons. Is he able to recieve any benefits? Will they be lifetime benefits? What forms should he be filling out, etc. Is there a website that has info on this subject? Kindly tell me how this works... Thank you and God Bless...
