I have been at a new job but same profession with no gap for about 4 months making 60K. My fiancee is self employed making roughly half my income and has been self employed for 2 years. I know that to qualify for a mortgage in canada a self employed person needs to be working for atleast 3 years. Will the fact that I make considerably more than her help us out or basically is the mortgage qualification pending on me? I am not self employed, just my fiancee. Any useful answers are much appreciated!

Is it normal to feel discomfort when the doctor checks the cervix?

The last few times my fiancee and i went into the doctor for the routine prenatal check up he has been checking the cervix being that she is 37 weeks this week he is going to do it again but i was wondering if it is normal for my fiancee to feel discomfort when he does this. every time he does it then leaves the room she always says jeez he has big fingers. and when he does it i can see the discomfort on her face.

Having 2nd thoughts about getting remarried?

My fiancee Alexis and i are going to be getting married on July 4th. However I'm having doubts if i really want to marry her. One of them is she used to be a porn star and even though she has told me she is done with me and wants to settle down and start a family she still remains in contact with friends from the industry. Sounds like a good idea to me. If the time really goes back and forth all that often, seems necessary. And it definitely wouldn't annoy me if it didn't go in chronological order. That just makes it more interesting. It's like, "Ooohhh, so this chapter will be about something that happened to So-And-So when he was a little kid! The anticipation to understand is killing meeee!" And then you read on because the past is ever so interesting.
