What movie is this i cant remember?

its a movie about a boy in africa or something he had a white arabian horse that had a black foal but something happened to the white horse so the boy raised the horse. the boy was raised by a king or a rich man who had a son that had a cheetah and every time the boy with the horse would do something wrong he would get whiped by the king.
